Who is behind BillHelp?

BillHelp was started by Raffaello d’Amore, who builds tools to make healthcare paperwork easier to handle.

We help with billing and paperwork. We don’t give medical or legal advice. Our guides are written by BillHelp. We name an outside reviewer only when they have reviewed the guide.

How we help

1. Upload your bill and insurance paperwork, then sign one authorization for the case during intake.
2. We review the paperwork, contact your provider or insurer, and handle routine calls and follow-up for you. You can check progress in your account without managing each step.
3. If a provider or insurer requires a separate form or verification, we work through that process under your authorization and let you know if your signature or information is needed.
4. Our success fee is 20% of savings under your case agreement. There is no upfront fee and no success fee if there are no savings.

Full-service cases start at a $100 patient balance. For smaller bills, our intake offers a free personalized self-service plan without an account.
