Meet Gemma.
A medical bill. A helping hand.
Here’s what we saved Gemma.
Upload your bill and insurance card. We’ll review the paperwork, contact your provider or insurer, and handle the follow-up for you. No calls or chasing on your end.
A wrong code, a missing claim detail, insurance that wasn’t applied, or a payment that never got credited can leave you with a bill you don’t owe. We compare your bill with your insurance paperwork, find what went wrong, and handle the calls and follow-up to get it corrected.

Enter your medical bill and try an example correction. The number shows what could come off your bill, before any success fee.
This is an example, not a prediction. Your case review determines whether any amount can be corrected. If we save you money, our success fee is 20% of confirmed savings under your case agreement. No savings, no success fee.
That’s what a 20% correction would save on a $1,200 bill.

Start with a medical bill you don’t understand, a balance that looks wrong, or a claim denied by insurance. You can upload multiple bills and add explanations of benefits, denial letters, and other supporting evidence as separate files.
You can choose your documents and complete the intake first. At the end, create an account or sign in with email or Google to submit and track your case. Files stay in this page’s memory until submission. Your bill and answers stay with you through sign-in.
Your case is saved with a Received status. We review your bill, insurance paperwork, and the context you share, then handle the calls and follow-up under your case authorization. You can follow progress in your account. A formal appeal is filed only when the case calls for one and its filing requirements are complete.
Yes. Your case-specific authorization lets us contact your provider or insurer and handle routine calls and follow-up. You don’t need to approve each step. If a company requires its own form or verification, we’ll work through that process and tell you if your signature or information is needed. We don’t make treatment decisions or accept settlements or payment commitments without your separate approval.
No upfront fee. Our success fee is 20% of savings under your case’s agreed terms. If there are no savings, you owe no success fee. Review your case agreement for how savings are calculated and when a fee is due. There is no guaranteed outcome.
BillHelp helps investigate medical bills and insurance claim discrepancies. We do not provide clinical advice or act as your attorney. Coverage, appeal rights, deadlines, and available remedies depend on your plan and circumstances.
Upload the documents for your case and sign the case authorization during intake. After that, we handle routine outreach and follow-up for you; you don’t have to manage each step. If a provider or insurer requires another form or verification, we’ll let you know what is needed. Read our Privacy page for how information is handled.
Fee and minimum shown as of October 19, 2026. Full-service case minimum: $100.
Our success fee is 20% of savings. If there are no savings, you owe no success fee. Your case agreement defines how savings are calculated and when any fee is due. Review those terms before agreeing to the service. An upload alone does not guarantee savings or establish a final fee.
